Using context clues and connotation helps us learn vocabulary. The use of context clues can help you learn definitions of words. You can do this by use of word association, or by seeing what words can replace the word. Connotation can also help you find out the definition of words. You can do this by using the way the word fits in and what it sounds like to associate it with another word or phrase.
