Answer- 180 degree rotation.

Basically how I remember it is by 90 degree clockwise is switch x,y and change the sign of the x—> y,-x. 90 degree counterclockwise is switch x,y and change the sign of the y —> -y, x. 180 degree is changing both signs with no switch. 360 stays the same.

What is the missing constant term in the perfect square that starts with
Vedmedyk [2.9K]

Answer:

49

Step-by-step explanation:

The expression is given below:

x^2 + 14x

Let y be the constant that will make the expression a perfect square. Therefore, the expression can be written as:

x^2 + 14x + y

Applying the formula b^2 = 4ac, we can easily obtain the value of y as shown below:

x^2 + 14x + y

Coefficient of x^2 (a) = 1

Coefficient of x (b) = 14

Constant (c) = y

b^2 = 4ac

14^2 = 4 x 1 x c

196 = 4c

Divide both side by the coefficient of c i.e 4

c = 196/4

c = 49

Thus, 49 must be added to the expression to make it a perfect square.

igor_vitrenko [27]
The answer is B. If you put the information given into a proportion, you will find that Anthony worked for 7.5 hours. When the problem says that his hourly rate is proportional to Carla's, it means that he gets the same amount of money per hour as she does.
