Is there a specific woodcut you are referring to? Woodcuts are printed in reverse, meaning that when an artist is carving the wooden panel they have to think the opposite way around. E.g. if an artist is carving text into wood, then they will have to cut this in reverse, to print legibly.

Why did Edlin feel like he hadn’t done his job?
allochka39001 [22]

Answer:

Edlin feel like he hadn’t done his job because the war is not over yet.

Explanation:

Edlin feel like he hadn’t done his job because on his way he lands on the Omaha Beach where the Germans machine guns were installed. His job is to destroy these guns on the beach. When Edlin is on his way he was shot by one leg by the sniper and soon on the other leg with the bullet of machine gun so he was not able to walk but move toward the machine guns by crawling. Edlin wants to go with his soldiers and fight against the German soldiers on the next day that's why he feel like he hadn’t done his job.
