In a right triangle, the acute angles measure 2x + 50 and 3x degrees. What is the measure of the smallest angle of the triangle?
andrezito [222]
Since this is a right triangle the two acute angles must sum to 90 degrees because a triangle's angles must sum to 180 degrees.

2x+50+3x=90

5x+50=90

5x=40

x=8

So the smallest angle is 3x=3*8=24°

Anyone do K12 International Private Academy? I was wondering if u could share your honest thoughts and opinions on it :)
kiruha [24]
I do K12 7th grade and it has really brought my grades up! One thing I have noticed though is the work is more advanced then the work at a normal school. At first I had alot of trouble getting used to the system but after awhile it's very simple. I really like K12 because it let's you learn at your own pace. if you have any questions about K12 I would be happy to answer.

Answer:

Number of terms: 2

Degree: 1

Step-by-step explanation:

✔️A term can either be a coefficient with a variable, a variable, or a constant.

In the polynomial given, 10y + 2, there are two terms:

First term is a coefficient with a variable = 10y

Second term is a constant = 2

The two terms are: 10y and 2

✔️Degree of a polynomial is the highest exponents possessed by any of its term.

10y has an exponent of 1.

The degree of the polynomial therefore will be 1

Answer:

Books due to this week=1260

Step-by-step explanation:

F-books checked out=12500*(2/5)=5000

nonF-books checked out=19000*(2/5)=7600

Total checked books=5000+7600=12600

Books due to this week = (1/10)*12600=1260

What is the value of “x” in each case?!?
N76 [4]
The horizontal line makes two 180 degrees semi circles so x is the same as the space between the 37 and 45 degrees. Subtract 180 from 37 and 45 to get 98

x = 98
