Answer:

It could carry more weight

Explanation:

The horse made a much better work animal than the dog because it could carry more weight than a dog. just by the fact it's so much bigger, so much stronger. It's strength was definitely the major reason why it was preferred to the dog, but the horse also adapts easily to its environment. Even if a horse eats more than a dog, because of its size, the benefits of using it for work are much bigger.

It's also much more calm and docile than most dogs, although some dog races are quite good at training and being used as assistance animal for the handicapped or blind people.

How did the puritans' distinctive religious outlook and church organization shape the politics, society, and culture of massachu
Virty [35]
The Puritans chose to make a province in America where they could hone their religion. This was not a province where the opportunity of religion existed. It was one where Puritanism would turn into the State religion. All pioneers would be required to take after its religious standards. Guidelines were fairly strict.

What practical measures did the people of Mesopotamia take to grow crops on a regular basis
meriva

The people of Mesopotamia had two rivers namely the Tigris and Euphrates. They made canals and other man made waterways to use for irrigation and to supply their plants with water. Using these irrigation tools they channeled water from rivers to their crops. Irrigation helped keep the soil moist, and the river water delivered nutrients to the soil. In this way they grew crops on a regular basis.

Few crops that they grew were- barley , wheat, vegetables, lentils, fruits etc.
