What is consumer demand

Advanced Placement (AP)

"Demand and supply go hand in hand. Supply is the amount of product available for consumers to purchase. Consumers, those who buy the products, want to pay the lowest price while the supplier attempts to maximize their profits. If the suppliers charge too much, they'll have too much supply and not enough demand to sell their products. If the suppliers charge too little, they'll run out of supply and not make enough profit to continue their business. The focus is to charge enough to make a profit, but not so much that you lose too much consumer interest. In the perfect scenario, you maximize on profit while still satisfying the consumers."-https://study.com/academy/lesson/what-is-consumer-demand-theory-examples.html

Answer:

A simple definition of consumer demand  is "the willingness and ability of consumers to purchase a number of goods and services in a given period of time, or at a given point in time" This means, the "pressure" that has the "consumer population" in the demand, where demand is the defined by the conception of "Offer and Demand"

AfilCa [17]

Answer: Regulation

Regulation means that the government needs businesses to perform particular actions. The regulation includes a set of laws that control the way a business can function. There are certain goals of the government like promoting stable markets, maintaining law and order are examples that make the government market stable.

If there are no regulation rules set by the government, as a result, there would be a lot of anarchy. More goals include, promoting economic prosperity by regulating financial markets through the securities and exchange commissions etc

Ben is 4 times as old as ishaan and is also 6 years older than ishaan. how old is ben.
Katen [24]

The correct answer is - Ben is 8.

Since Ben is 4 times older than Ishaan, but also we know the fact that Ben is 6 years older than Ishaan, that leaves us with only one number as the possible solution, the number 8.

In order to get to the result we should find a number that multiplied by four and summed up with six, gives the same result.

4 x 2 = 8

2 + 6 = 8

Knowing now that the age of Ben is 8, we can also conclude that the number used for multiplying and summing, 2, is the number that represents the age of Ishaan.
