Difference between Shays' and Whiskey: Shays' rebellion was under the Articles of Confederation and the weak government and was unable to support, with force, the state of MA in order to aid in the defeat of the rebellion. The Whiskey Rebellion, under the Constitution, it became evident that the government was capable of enforcing the law.
Unemployment had risen, leaving stocks in great excess of their real value. Among the other causes of the eventual market collapse were low wages, the proliferation of debt, a struggling agricultural sector and an excess of large bank loans that could not be liquidated.
Half of the US would be part of Mexico, Texas was the first Mexican territory to become part of the US so the rest weren't hard to get since Texas was so big. I personally wish Texas would've stayed because if it would've, Mexico, my country, would be as powerful as the US.
