Pungi is a musical instrument whose sound was detested by Aurangzeb, one of the bold emperors in India. He did not ban the playing of music in his palace.
Aurangzeb (1618), made India to grow economically to be recognized by other great nations. He declared that the sound produced by the instrument is unpleasant to hearing, thus banned the playing of Pungi in his royal palace.
