Answer: The correct answer is- 1) Glycolysis, 2) Kreb cycle, 3) Electron transport chain.

Cellular respiration is a process of oxidation of food molecule ( like glucose) so as to form carbon dioxide, water, and large amount of energy in the form of ATP ( adenosine triphosphate). It can be of two types that is aerobic ( that occurs in eukaryotes) and anaerobic ( in prokaryotes) cellular respiration.

The three phases of aerobic cellular respiration ( occurs in the presence of oxygen) are -

1) Glycolysis ( takes place in cytoplasm)- Glucose is broken down into 2 molecules of pyruvate with the release of net 2 ATP, 2NADH.

2) Kreb cycle ( takes place in mitochondrial matrix)- More energy is driven when pyruvate is first conveted into acetyle CoA ( acetyl coenzyme  A) that is further oxidised to release 1ATP, 3NADH, and FADH2.

3) Electron transport chain ( in the inner mitochondrial membrane)- It is the final stage of aerobic respiration in which maximum amount ( upto 36 ATP) of energy is harvested.

What are the chances that a cross between a black chicken and white chicken will result in blue offspring?
Shkiper50 [21]

The correct answer is 100%

This is because Back and white are both incomplete dominant traits. When you cross these together, all (100%) of the offspring will be heterozygous blue.

I just took the test on USATestPrep, so I guarantee you that is correct!

Have a great day! :)

The glucose-making part of photosynthesis takes place in the.
romanna [79]

Answer:

The glucose making part of photosynthesis takes place in the stroma

explanation:

Stroma is the colorless liquid that surrounds the grana in the chloroplast inside plant cells. The stroma contains grana, and stacks of thylakoids in which photosynthesis is started before the chemical changes are completed in the stroma itself. The stroma functions by synthesizing organic molecules from water and carbon dioxide. In the stroma, an enzyme removes the carbon from carbon dioxide, and then combines it with hydrogen and oxygen and to form a simple carbohydrate molecule (glucose).
