I'm pretty sure that they want you to use a ruler, if it doesn't say anything about measurements

the length of a rectangle plus its width is 18 cm the area is 80 square units. what are the length and width of the rectangle?
Whitepunk [10]
If two sides of a rectangle add up to 18cm and the area is 80 units squared then the length is 10cm, and the width is 8cm. If you add 10 and 8 together you get 18, and if you multiply those you get 80 units squared. Hope this helps!

2+3w<-1<3w+5

Answer please
Dafna1 [17]

2 + 3w < -1 < 3w + 5 |subtract 3w from all sides

2 < -1 - 3w < 5 |add 1 to all sides

3 < -3w < 6 |change the signs

-3 > 3w > -6 |divide both sides by 3

-1 > w > -2 → -2 < w < -1 → w ∈ (-2, -1)
