Answer:

There isn't a lot of difference, and I suppose it mostly depends on how one might use the term "story" or "article".

Explanation:

When talking about the media, we use both terms '<em>news story</em>' and '<em>news article</em>'. I guess technically, news stories refer to a story about an event, like a collision or maybe some crime, while news articles might be about why your pet shouldn't be vegan. Articles I guess tend to be more informative about a certain topic, rather than recounting an event.

Regarding books or material we find online: I'd say that a story can be true, fiction, or a mix of both. Again, usually articles are informative, and most always true.

I hope this clears stuff up for you! Feel free to leave any questions in the comments :)

We are reading The Outsiders in class, but I don't understand theme. Can anyone help?
yuradex [85]
The theme in a story is an idea that readers can see multiple times throughout the story. Sometimes themes make the reader question the actions of the characters-- such as deciding right from wrong. Some of the main themes in "The Outsiders" is the divide between the rich and the poor, empathy, the protecting of childhood innocence, honor and individual identity.

Let me know if this helps! :)

What is the “ideal” society portrayed in Harrison Bergeron
lianna [129]
In "Harrison Bergerson", Vonnegut suggests that total equality is not an ideal worth striving for, as many people believe, but a mistaken goal that is dangerous for in both execution and outcome. To achieve physical and mental equality among all Americans, the government in Vonnegut's story tortures its citizens.

That's just a little sum up of it to get you started
