The symptoms of the virus don’t show up till about 4 or 5 days after contracting the virus and if the people choose to ignore the request too stay home, they could be spreading the virus without even knowing they are doing so.

If people chose to ignore the stay at home warnings, they are increasing their change of getting the virus, or spreading the virus. Some people don't know they have the virus or have been exposed to the virus until they are so bad that they need to be hospitalised. The rules are there for a reason. Stay home.
