technically speaking valentines day was not even really real back then so government corporations wanted people to buy stuff for their loved ones on a specific day just to make more money, so then thats when the old tradition of celebrating valentines day began, and for the record if your asking this why do we celebrate anything at all, especially considering all of the horrors that all of mankind have committed
