Describe three differences between modern farms and farms 100 years ago.

1. Old farms didn't have sprinklers to water their crops.
2. They didn't have pesticides to ward off bugs & insects.
3. They didn't have tractors.

1.) Farmers had to go out and cut the crops
2.)Didn't have any sprinklers so had to water by hand
3.)Didn't have anything to feed the crops so pest won't go on them
4.)There were less crops since different insects ate them

  • right to vote because lived in U.S.
  • show opinion through voting

Against:

  • some believed women were "too good and pure" to vote
  • some believed in male superiority
  • some believed women didn't produce much in the world and were not capable of doing so. *(this opinion was mainly because most women of that age worked in the house)
  • *little known fact: lots of women were against women suffrage because that would mean they would have to get drafted and fight in the war
