If Luis goes on a diet and does not exercise, one of the negative effects of this regimen will be _____.

Health
1 answer:

1) One negative effect of Luis not exercising when he's on a diet is that Luis's body is most likely not used to the change of food consumed and can lead to energy loss and/or vomiting. If Luis does not exercise to strengthen his body and become more prepared for change, Luis may get sick.

2) Mixing exercise with a healthy diet is a much more effective way to decrease in weight than depending on calorie or food restriction alone. Exercise can prevent or even reverse the effects of specific diseases. Exercise lowers blood pressure and cholesterol, which potentially can prevent a heart attack. Having both defenses is a great thing for your body.

Vinvika [58]

Answer:

135°F

Explanation:

According to the FDA Food Code, all hot foods must be maintained at 135°F or above. If they fall below, they are in the temperature danger zone, which is the temperature range where bacteria can grow rapidly. I hope this helps you!

Do you think it should be mandatory for teenagers to have the HPV vaccine?  Explain your answer.
Andrej [43]

I think that it should be mandatory for any sexually active person to receive the shot for HPV but especially women. Men are carriers of the virus but it greatly affects women and can lead to ovarian, uterine, and/or cervical cancer as well as other cancers. Roughly 80% of the population will have HPV at one time or another. It is usually suggested that those who get HPV while younger wait and it will pass on its own. By demanding the vaccine and making it mandatory, we will lower these risks.

I am not sure why parents do not get their kids vaccinated because they really should. My guess would be that they are uneducated or believe that anything with risks should be avoided for their children and do not understand that the disease the vaccine is treating is actually worse than the unlikelihood of the vaccine side effects occurring.

I would visit websites such as the center for disease control and american heart association. Any reputable websites with scientific information will show that vaccines are necessary especially for children.
