Answer:

The presence of many different churches in the colony of New Jersey indicated that colonists enjoyed the religion freedom, however Jewish people could not settle there or be a part of everything.

Explanation:

In the late 1600’s, New Jersey was split into West and East Jersey. West Jersey was run by the peaceful Quakers, they thought differently about women and Native Americans than the majority of other colonists, they thought that no matter what, every man was equal. East Jersey was run by the very strict, Puritans. Puritans were Protestant and were very attached to their religion, they left England because they didn’t think the Church of England was strict enough. After a while, over 40 religious groups, including Presbyterian, Quaker, Church of England, Dutch Reformed, Baptist, Dutch Lutheran, Seventh Day Baptist, and German Reformed, all were present in the colony. Also, some colonists were trying to convert the African American slaves into Christianity, as they were under their control.

Answer: The entire system of the 3 branches of the government are essential because they all protect the people's freedoms as a citizen will create a fine balancing act that will promote a democratic society. The Legislative branch (the branch responsible for making the countries laws), Executive branch (the branch that is responsible for implementing laws that are created by the Legislative branch.) and the Judicial branch (Supreme Court) keep each other in the loop and prevent one of the branches, could be any branch, of our government from becoming more successful and powerful than the rest of the branches.
