Explanation:

Emperor Wudi vastly increased the authority of the Han Dynasty and extended Chinese influence abroad. He set Confucianism as the state philosophy and build up many academies throughout the country.

In those academies, the Confucian Imperial Examination was established to select people for government positions.  Those who passed the examination were guaranteed to be literate and knowledgeable about Confucian political philosophy. This was the main way people were selected for government jobs.

How did ww2 affect american farming
guajiro [1.7K]

Hello,

As the war approached, it got worse for farmer... The United States responded. First, the U.S. decided to send its destroyers to hunt the U-Boats and keep shipping lanes open. Hormel had introduced the canned meat product Spam in the 1930s. It proved to be an ideal combat ration because it could be shipped easily and wouldn't spoil for long periods of time. Soldiers could fight only as long as they had food to fuel their bodies. So, farmers were exhorted to produce even more.
