Never similar. Because a pentagon does not have a parallel side to it. Hope this helps.

They are never similar. In order for two shaped to be similar, they must have the same number of sides, and the angles all must be the same. The only difference between two similar shapes is that their side lengths proportionally larger or smaller.

Since a parallelogram has 4 sides, and a pentagon has 5 sides, they can never be similar.

Use mental math to simplify the expression. (5 + 23) + 65

1. (5+23)+65 = (5+65)+23 = 70+23 = 93 (D)
2. -(4x-7) = -4X+7 (C)
3. 2(6X+9) = 12X+18 (B)
4. 5(X-3) = 35
X-3 = 35/5
X-3 = 7
SO X= 7+3 = 10

Your soccer team has won 6 games and lost 4 games. If the team does not lose any more games, how many games must the team win to
Lunna [17]

Answer: 4 games

Step-by-step explanation:

The team has won 6 games and lost 4 games. The win--loss ratio at the moment must be:

= 6 : 4

This must be at its simplest form which is:

= 3 :  2

To take it to 5 : 2, we would have to take up the left side of the ratio by 2.

Because we simplified by using a factor of 2, we have to multiply the 2 we just calculated by the factor to find the number of games needed to be won:

= 2 * 2

= 4 games

What is the value of y in the solution to the system of equations?
LUCKY_DIMON [66]

To solve for y you have to simplify both sides of the equation, then isolating the variable which equals to...

y = -4x/3 + 4

Next, you have to move all terms that don't contain y to the right side and solve.

y = 10 + 2x/3

____

Now we solve the first variable in one of the equations, then substitute the result into the other equation.

Point Form: (-3,8)

Equation Form: x = -3, y = 8

____

Leaving it to be the only choice which is 'D.) 8', I hope this helps, as always. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you have a nice day..
