Volume of the cone is 117.5 π ft³

Step-by-step explanation:

Lateral area of the cone = πrs

s is the slant height = 15 ft

From the above formula, we can find the radius as, 5 ft.

Volume of the cone = π r² h/3

s = √ (5²+ h²)

Squaring on both sides, we will get,

s² = 15² = (5² + h²)

15² - 5² = h²

225 - 25 = 200 = h²

h = √200 = 14.1 ft

Volume = π × 5² × 14.1 / 3 = 117.5 π ft³

What is half way between -5 degrees F and postive 15 degrees F?
andre [41]
To find the halfway points between two numbers, add the numbers and divide the quantity by 2. -5+15 equals 10 and 10/2=5 therefore 5 is halfway between -5 and 15.

angle A and angle B are supplementary angles. If m∠=(4x - 30) degree and m∠B =(4x-14) degree, then find the measure of ∠A
sesenic [268]

Answer:

<A = 26°

Step-by-step explanation:

4x - 30 + 4x - 14 = 180

Supplementary angles sum together to make 180

=> 4x + 4x = 16x

=> -30-14 = -44

16x = 180+44

16x = 224

x = 224/16

x = 14°

4(14) - 30 = 26°
