Imagine you were a person or child of a farmer living through the Dust Bowl. Write a personal journal entry (at least 5 sentences) describing the hardships you have to face, the economic struggles you have to endure, as well as how your life has changed since the Dust Bowl hit.

Today has been a hard day, as usual, the crops are all but unharvestable because of the terrible storm. just as I had feared, when it was all over, I had to buy new crops and livestock to help my family. but with my crops and livestock gone I was not be able to make any money for me to buy my own crops or livestock. I wish I had some spare crops to plant, all the ones I have are malnourished from the storm.
