Each hour has 60 minutes, so we need to compute 5/12 of 60 min which is \frac{5}{12} (60 min) = 5(5) = 25 min

A 12th of an hour (60 mins) is 60 divide by 12 = 5. Then do 5x5 =25 mins. So he practised one piano solo for 25 mins, then times 25 by 3 (because he did 3 piano solos) which equals 75. So the answer is- Richard practised for 75mins altogether. I think you might to check it up!! Xx

Can anyone help me with this?0
sergeinik [125]

Answer:

C) (y - 1)(y - 5)

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi there!

First you separate your expression into groups.

(y^2-5y)(-1y+5)

Now we take the common multiple out of each.

y(y - 5)-1(y - 5)

Since we have two (y - 5)s, we can pull it out of the equation as its own common multiple.

After we do that, we are left with y - 1. (we got this from taking the common multiples out)

Now we are just left with (y - 5)(y - 1)

Hope this helped!

The volume of a single layer in a rectangular prism is 18 cubic centimeters. There are 5 layers in this rectangular prism. What
sweet [91]

Answer: 90cm^3

Step-by-step explanation:

A rectangular prism is a three-dimensional solid.

A rectangular prism has six faces (each one of these faces are rectangles), eight vertices and twelve edges.

You know that this rectangular prism has 5 layers and the volume of one of these layers is 18 cubic centimeters (18cm^3).

Assuming that all these layers are equal, the volume of this rectangular prism can be calculated with:

V_{prism}=5*V_1

Where V_1 is the volume of one layer.

Substituting, you get:

V_{prism}=(5)(18cm^3)\\\\V_{prism}=90cm^3
