Y - y1 = m(x - x1)
slope(m) = 6/7
(-9,6)....x1 = -9 and y1 = 6
now we sub...pay close attention to ur signs
y - 6 = 6/7(x - (-9)....not done yet
y - 6 = 6/7(x + 9) <===

Well the point would be (-9,6) and the slope is approx. 6/7 and if you'd like it in point slope form it would be y-6=6/7(x+9)

Hope this helped ;D

Find a cubic function with the given zeros. Square root of seven. , - Square root of seven. , -4
yan [13]

Answer:

y= x^{3} +4x^{2}-7x-28

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to find a cubic function of x whose zeros are at x = √7, x = -√7 and at x = -4.

Therefore, the factors of the function will be (x - √7), (x + √7), and (x + 4)

Hence, the equation will be y = (x - √7) (x + √7) (x + 4)

⇒ y = (x^{2} -7)(x +4)

⇒ y= x^{3} +4x^{2}-7x-28 (Answer)

Which expression is equivalent to ? Assume
Lady_Fox [76]

we have

\sqrt{8x^{7}y^{8}}= ({8x^{7}y^{8}})^{\frac{1}{2}}=(2^{3})^{\frac{1}{2}} (x^{7})^{\frac{1}{2}} (y^{8})^{\frac{1}{2}}\\=(2x^{3}y^{4})(2x)^{\frac{1}{2}}=(2x^{3}y^{4})\sqrt{2x}

therefore

<u>the answer is the option </u>

(2x^{3}y^{4})\sqrt{2x}

A candy distributor needs to mix a 30% fat-content chocolate with a 40% fat-content chocolate to create 150 kilograms of a 32% f
Ber [7]

Answer:

120 kg of 30% fat-content chocolate and 30 kg of 40% fat-content chocolate.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that a candy distributor needs to mix a 30% fat-content chocolate with a 40% fat-content chocolate to create 150 kilograms of a 32% fat-content chocolate.

Let the amount of 30% fat-content chocolate be 'x' and the amount of 40% fat-content chocolate be 'y'.

So, according to the question;

x + y = 150 ------------ [equation 1]

and 30\% \text{ of } x +  40\% \text{ of } y=32\% \text{ of } 150

30x+40y= 32 \times 150

30x+40\times (150-x)= 4800

30x+6000-40x= 4800

10x = 6000-4800

x=\frac{1200}{10}

x = 120 kg

Now, putting the value of x in equation 1, we get;

x + y = 150

120 + y = 150

y = 30 kg

Hence, 120 kg of 30% fat-content chocolate and 30 kg of 40% fat-content chocolate.

A professional basketball court is in the shape of rectangle. It is 50 feet wide and 84 feet long.A player runs one time around
JulsSmile [24]
The court is the shape of a rectangle, so that means 2 sides are 50 feet and 2 sides are 84 feet
 if a player ran around the edge he ran 50 + 50 + 84 + 84 = 268 feet total
