Answer:

The data is a strong correlation and correlation is negative.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Based on the ordered pairs in the data below:

x: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

y: 300 293 276 270 250 249 233 221 219

To find : Whether there is no correlation, a weak correlation or a strong correlation.

If there is indeed correlations, determine whether the correlation is negative or positive.

Solution :

On plotting the scatter plot on the basis of table of values,

We see that the relation is a strong correlation since we can find a relationship between variable x and y.

As the points will lie above or below the curve which is formed by connecting some points of the scatter plot and are not scattered away.

So, The data is a strong correlation.

Also the graph is a negative correlation since with the increasing value of x the y-value decreases.

So, The correlation is negative.

Refer the attached figure below.

Alla [95]

The number of lateral faces for a hexagonal prism or pyramid is 6.

What is a prism?

A prism is a three dimensional figure consisting of pair of opposite bases and lateral faces which are parallelogram.

Given that the base off the prism has two sides of length 3 inches and four sides of length 2 inches. Hence the base is hexagonal. The lateral faces would be 6.

The number of lateral faces for a hexagonal prism or pyramid is 6.
