Tina could use dendrochronology in her studies. Dendrochronology is the study of tree rings and scientists use this method to study past climatic conditions. Tree rings record the annual growth of the tree. A smaller than average tree ring indicates a possible drought or other climatic factor than can negatively affect the growth of trees. A larger than average ring can speak of favorable conditions for growth such as increased rainfall.
It starts as a raindrop which is rain than it goes to the ocean,rivers,puddles or any body of water and from there it evaporates which makes the clouds and than it starts all over when the clouds already got enough water.
I like 4 the best. If an organism is covered by sediment before the body decays the sediment can harden around the decaying body and the imprint will be preserved in the hardened sediment.
1. Overheating during fixation
2. Don't stain smears in which have been only air dried
3. The smears shouldn't be too thick
4. After staining, it's essential that the back of the surface slide is wiped clean
