Answer:

X = 18

Y = 18

Step-by-step explanation:

first make two equation like

x + y = 36

1180x + 125y = 23490

from equation one we have

y = 36- x

put in second equation

1180x + 125 (36-x) = 23490

1180x + 4500-125x = 23490

1055x = 23490-4500

x = 18990/1055

x = 18

put this x value in equation 1 to find y value

18+ y = 36

y = 36-18

y = 18

Undo the subtraction of x-2=6
spayn [35]

Answer:

x = 8

Step-by-step explanation:

I am assuming that you want to solve for x.

Note the equal sign, what you do to one side, you do to the opposite side. Isolate the variable, x. Add 2 to both sides:

x - 2 (+2) = 6 (+2)

x = 6 + 2

x = 8

x = 8 is your answer.

Find three consecutive even integers such that the<br> sum of the smallest and the largest is 36.
erastova [34]

n= smallest integer

n+2= middle integer

n+4= largest integer

n + n + 4 = 36

2n+ 4 = 36

2n=32

n= 16 which means that the smallest integer is 16

then you substitute it into the equation for the largest integer

n+4=20

16, 18, 20 is the answer

Carly buys 3 more band concert tickets than choir concert tickets. Band concert tickets cost $3.50 per ticket. What is the cost
alexira [117]

Answer:

I'm not to sure, but I'll say 10.5

If you multiply 3.50 x 3 you'll get 10.5

If you add you'll get 13.5.

If it's an addition I'll recommend to go with 13.5

If it's a multiplication  I'll recommend to go with 10.5
