The correct answer is C) it stabilized the prices of farm goods.

The Agriculture Marketing Act of 1929 helped farmers in that it stabilized the prices of farm goods.

This Act had the purpose of stopping the downward spiral of agriculture prices. The measure helped farmers to buy and sell products needed for their work and to storage surpluses in good conditions. The government gave financial assistance and guarantees to farmer's organizations. And one of the most important results of the Agriculture Marketing Act of 1929 was that it helped to stabilize the prices of the crops, something that benefited so much the American farmers.

The Zimmerman telegram was a huge diplomatic mistake by _____.
Oduvanchick [21]

Answer: GERMANY

Explanation:

The Zimmerman telegram was a note sent by Germany's foreign minister to the ambassador of Mexico, seeking alliance with Mexico against the United States if the US entered the war. Learning of the telegram increased concerns by the US about Germany's intentions, and led to declaration of war.

Further detail:

The reasons that led to the US declaring war against Germany in 1917:

 • In January, 1917, Germany had resumed its policy of unrestricted submarine warfare. Germany had halted its attacks on non-military vessels (which it suspected of carrying military supplies) after the furor over the sinking of the Lusitania in 1915. But now Germany was resuming attacks by its U-boats.
 • In February, 1917, the "Zimmerman Telegram" was intercepted by British intelligence and shared with the US. Germany's foreign minister, Arthur Zimmerman, had telegraphed an offer to Mexico's ambassador seeking Mexico's support in war vs. the United States in exchange for getting land back from the US.
 • On April 2, 1917, President Woodrow Wilson made a powerful speech to Congress in which he argued that the nation needed to enter the war "to make the world safe for democracy." Wilson's speech was powerfully convincing, and four days later, Congress declared war.

What were the differences between Democratic-Republicans and National Republicans?
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]
National Republican Party, U.S. political party formed after what had been the Republican (or Jeffersonian Republican) party split in 1825. The Jeffersonian Republicans had been the only national political party following the demise of the Federalists during the War of 1812. During the contested election of 1824, followers of Henry Clay and John Quincy Adams began calling themselves National Republicans, while backers of Andrew Jackson emerged as Democratic Republicans. By the election of 1828, the Jacksonians were simply called Democrats, though the name was not formalized until later. Opponents of Jackson joined the National Republican coalition and nominated Adams for a second term. Adams lost, but the National Republicans grew stronger. In 1831 they nominated Henry Clay to run on a platform endorsing the tariff, internal improvements, and the Bank of the United States.

Jackson and the Democrats won an overwhelming victory in the election of 1832, and the National Republicans never nominated another presidential candidate. During Jackson’s second administration, the National Republicans joined with northern and southern conservatives, supporters of the Bank of the United States, and other anti-Jackson groups to form a new coalition. Claiming Jackson governed as “King Andrew I,” the new party called itself the Whigs—after the British party that had opposed the power of the monarchy. By about 1834, there was little trace of the National Republican Party.

I hope this helped. If it did I suggest going onto a site called Quillbot.com. This particular site will take what I just wrote and paraphrase it, so it will look and sound like your work all along. Have a good day!!
