1. genocides.

Explanation:

After the end of the Cold War many African countries were affected badly. This was due to the influence that the Soviets had in lot of them. Once they lost their ally and supporter, lot of these countries got in even worse conditions and the dictators made some terrible decisions that made a negative lasting impact.

Because of the terrible conditions in these countries the people were not satisfied so they revolted. Numerous organizations formed, some separatist, some terrorist, some in order to overthrow the government, so the situation escalated quickly. Also, the dictators used the minority groups in order to blame them for all troubles thought hey had nothing to do with it. The end results were lot of civil wars and in several occasions even genocides.

2. Jewish people.

Explanation:

The Islamists have shown on numerous occasions that they are anything but tolerant when it comes to other religious groups. This can easily be seen in that they propagate that the other groups of people are lesser beings or don't even deserve to live. They support slavery of other religious groups, strip them of all rights, and often terrorize them without any reason for such actions.

The group that is most commonly blamed for ''contaminating'' the Muslim world are the Jewish people. The Islamists are not fond of the Jewish people at all and tend to use them as an excuse for everything that is not right in their societies. This resulted in persecution, open attacks, and open spread of hatred toward this group of people.

Mazyrski [523]

Answer:

c. They wanted immigrants barred from the United States.

Explanation:

Nativism refers to a political position that privileges the welfare and the interests of the people who have been born in certain place (the natives) over immigrants. As more and more immigrants moved to the United States in the late 19th century, the nativist movement gained strength, and they wanted immigrants barred from the United States, especially those coming from China, Italy, and Eastern Europe. The nativists scored some successes, especially with the passing of the Emergency Quota Act of 1921, which placed restrictions on how many immigrants could enter the United States. This Act was further expanded by the Immigration Act of 1924, which banned immigrants from Asia and set strict limits on immigrants from other parts of the world, especially Eastern Europe. This discriminatory policy stayed in force until the passage of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965.

bezimeni [28]
Martin Luther was raised in the church with a solid education in the church's teachings and in the art of scholarly debate. He spent time living as a monk, knowing the Catholic Church's spiritual path from that perspective. As a monk, he had traveled to Rome and seen the corruption that was evident there, which shocked him. He had studied deeply to become a Doctor of Theology and taught theology at the University of Wittenberg. He had the training and stature to contend with the powerful leaders within the Catholic Church, because his own scholarship and skill were second to none. And he personally had experienced the overwhelming sense of guilt that the scholastic theology of the church had imposed on him, in contrast to the message of grace in Christ that he found when studying the Bible itself.
