Answer: This is a quadratic equation in x and can be solved using the quadratic formula:    x = (-b +_ (b^2 - 4 ac)^1/2) / (2 * a)

or (-7 +- (49 - (4 * 2 * 6))^1/2)  / (2 * 2)  where a=2, b=7, and c=6

and x = (-7 +- (49 - 48)^1/2) / 4 = (-7 +- 1) / 4

giving x = -8/4 and -6/4 or -2 and =3/2

The following proof shows an equivalent system of equations created from another system of equations. Fill in the missing reason
aev [14]

Answer:

Equation 2 of system  divided by 2 on both sides then we get second equation of system 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given two equations

2x+2y=14

-4x+6y=12

We are given a proof which shows an equivalent system of equations created from another system of equations

We have to fill the correct reason in the blank space

Statement:2x=2y=14

-4x+6y=12

Reason: Given

Statement :2x=2y=14

-2x+3y=6

Reason : equation 2 of system I divided by 2 on both sides then we get second equation of system 2.

When we divide by 2 then the solution does not change and x and y - intercepts are not change. So, the two systems are equivalent.

15 points, I have 0 idea how to solve this, please explain your answer
NikAS [45]
We know that lines e, and d are parallel. And they both cut through a straight line. Knowing that the bottom half are supplementary angles we know they will add up to 180 degrees. As you can see the congruent measurement on the left side of the equation is 154 degrees to find the measurement of angle
ANSWER: 26 degrees.

I hope this helps sorry for typos, this was on my phone and please thanks this reply and rate it if it did!
