Mathematics

Answer: 17.9

Step-by-step explanation:

A (-3,5)

B (1,7)

C (3,3)

D (-1,1)

To find the perimeter, the distance between each point or the length of each side must be found, so we use the distance formula.

d(distance) = √(x₂-x₁)² + (y₂-y₁)²

So, substitute numbers into the formula...

d = √(1 - -3)² + (7 - 5)² = √4² + 2² = √16 + 4 = √20 = 4.4721359 = Line AB

Repeat the steps and you find tha each length equals the same and that it is a square, so multiply √20 by 4 and you get 17.888543

Or about 17.9

Through my research I found a question similar to this and found the right description matching answers: so we have to find the perimeter of this: ''Shape ABCD is shown. Point A is at negative 3, 5. Point B is at 1, 7. Point C is at 3, 3. Point D is at negative 1, 1.''

Answer would be C) 17.9
