Answer: False

Explanation:

Acetylcholine functions in the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system both as activator and inhibitor.

It can cause the skeletal muscle to contract and it also inhibits the activation of the cholinergic system.

Whereas, the norepinehrine functions to mobilize the brain and body for actions. It is released lowest at the the time of sleeping , it shoots up at the time we are awaken and is highest at the time of stress.

Genetic drift in a population affects the gene pool in which of the following ways?
Paul [167]
Genetic Drift is a term used to describe part of the evolutionary process. Genetic Drift is a term describing the random environmental factors such as volcanic eruptions, trees falling down, forest fires etc, that affect the gene frequency in the population of a species after the event has taken place. So, we can say that genetic drift in a population can affect the gene pool by either allowing the gene pool to increase of decrease. A typical example is that of the worldwide rhino population. The more the rhinos are poached, the smaller the genetic pool becomes. Eventually this can lead to the extinction of the species.

Do all cells undergo Mitosis frequently? Why or why not?
Zina [86]
It really depends on the type of cell and the replacement rate. Mitosis or cell division occurs in places where the cells get damaged easily. For example, skin cells frequently divide and undergo mitosis because they are replaced very often. On the contrary, heart cells never get replaced and actually never really undergo mitosis (there is no need for it)
