What is one possible theme of the poem? A. Cherry blossoms are beautiful when they bloom all at once. B. Things that are importa
prohojiy [21]

This is definetly a tricky one, but you have to go back to the definition and meaning of 'theme.' A theme is the life lesson of a story or any other form of writing, movies, etc. So, I am not 100% on this, so I will say why I think for each answer. A; I definetly do not think it is A. B; doesn't sound right for me because even though the person in the poem is waiting for the bloom, he/she isn't talking just about waiting, he/she is talking about the time that is going by. C; It sounds like the cherry blossoms may bloom every year, but its not completely clear and doesn't fully match a theme. D; It sounds like the man/women is contemplating the life they have lived through seeing the cherry blossom for years. So I would say the and answer is D since that makes the most sense to me. Hope this helps! :)

Read the excerpt from The Code Book.
zhenek [66]

The correct answer is D. By describing an example of how money could be stolen and sent abroad

Explanation:

In the excerpt presented, the author explains a hypothetical situation in which a bank is asked through e.mail to transfer the funds of a client to a different bank account, about this, the author remarks as e-mails do not have a handwritten signature it would not be possible for the bank to know whether the e-mail is written by the owner of the account or a criminal and then ends the text with the main claim or idea that is "it is essential that there is some form of reliable digital signature", this means the information presented before the claim support this by providing a hypothetical situation or an example of the consequences of not having a reliable digital signature and the way money could be stolen as a consequence. Therefore, the author supports the claim by describing an example of how money could be stolen and sent abroad.
