Let f= number of five cent stamps
let t=number of ten cent stamps
total spent is 5f+10t=100
total stamps bought is f+t=13

5f+10t=100
f+t=13

f=13-t
5(13-t)+10t=100

65-5t+10t=100
5t=35
t=7
f+t=13
f+7=13
f=6

6 five cent stamps and 7 ten cent stamps

hoa [83]

Answer:

<em>- 2 </em>x^{5}<em> + 7x²y - 24y² </em>

Step-by-step explanation:

( 5 x^{5} - 5x²y + 9y² ) - ( 7 x^{5}  - 12x²y + 33y² ) =

5 x^{5} - 5x²y + 9y² -  7 x^{5}  + 12x²y - 33y² =

( 5 x^{5} - 7 x^{5} ) + ( - 5x²y + 12x²y ) + ( 9y² - 33y² ) =

<em>- 2 </em>x^{5}<em> + 7x²y - 24y²</em>

<h3>Calculating pecent error</h3>

Given the following parameters

  • Actual length = 23 inches
  • Estimated length = 18in

% error = actual-estimated/actual * 100

% error = 23-18/23 * 100

% error  = 500/23

% error = 21.74%
