Here, Angle DAF is equal to angle CBG.
We know, Sum of all angles in a triangle is equal to 180 degree which is a constant value.

C & D are perpendiculars, Hence they are equal in their magnitude.
Now, F is the remaining angle in Triangle ADF & G is in Triangle BCG.

So, by ASA Postulate, the two mentioned triangles would be Congruent to each other.

Hope this helps!

If 3 cats catch 3 rats in 3 minutes, how many cats will catch 100 rats in 100 minutes?
Lady_Fox [76]
3 cats can catch 3 rats in 3 minutes ==> 1 rat per minute.

It takes 3 cats to catch 1 rat per minute.

100 rats in 100 minutes ==> 1 rat per minute

The same <u>3 cats</u> can do it, if they don't wear out and take naps.

Solve Ax − By = C for x.
Travka [436]

For this case we have the following equation:

Ax - By = C

From here, we must clear the value of x.

Adding By on both sides:

Ax = By + C

Then, dividing both sides by A we have:

x = \frac {By + C} {A}

Answer:

x = \frac {By + C} {A}

x equals the quantity B times and plus C all over A
