The character responsible for most of the moral instruction in To Kill a Mockingbird is Atticus.

He is the one that gives Scout and Jem moral education. Atticus teaches them life lessons about racial prejudism in the town of Maycomb. He is admant in his position of standing for what he firmly believes.
