Let us assume that Length is 5 and width is 2
so that area of rectangle = 10
because area of rectangle = length * width

using same dimensions let us find the perimeter
perimeter of rectangle = 2( l + w)
perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( 5 + 2 )
perimeter of rectangle = 2 * 7
perimeter of rectangle = 14

Hope this helps... :)
