Answer:

C. simple sentence

Explanation:

Simple sentences consist of one independent clause. An example of a simple sentence is: I like pizza.

The other alternatives are incorrect because compound sentences contain at least two independent clauses; complex sentences have an independent clause and at least one subordinate clause; and complete sentences must possess a subject, verb and object.

To kill a mockingbird what are the men at the jail house there to do
Marina86 [1]
The man in the jail house tried to kill or find trouble for Tom Robinson. Luckily Atticus was there and Jem had the idea of following his father because he was worried. Scout later then solved the issue by mentioning Mr Cunningham's trail (or some sort I forgot) and they all realised that Atticus is just trying to do his job and justify the person like how he treats them. At last they went back and Tom wasn't harmed.

Summary of the story jump away
Papessa [141]

Answer:

The boys are being challenged to jump of a bridge by a high school bully.

Explanation:

I think the theme of this short storiy is sometimes standing up to greater powers may cause punishment but it is still the right thing to do. An example of this is when Mike the bully is counting and instead of jumping on three Fenny jumps on two. Fenny didn't want to conform to Mikes rule so he jumps on his own. It's his life to control and not Mikes. Although Mike gets mad at him and punches Fenny, Fenny knows he did the right thing.

One symbol in this story is the man a girl fishing up stream from the bridge. this symbolizes calmness, of how he is about to do this stunt but is focused on these two fishers. The way he looks in the distance to focus on something so simple as people fishing while he has this mean bully yelling at him, making him jump off a bridge.
