What is a bomb cyclone? And what impacts does it do?
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

A bomb cyclone is basically a storm that can rival the strength of a hurricane. They're called bomb cyclones or "weather bombs" because of the process that creates them (bombogenesis) basically bombogenesis is a storm that undergoes rapid strengthening.

The word bombogenesis comes from two words: bomb and cyclogenesis. All storms are cyclones and genesis means the creation or beginning and in this case bomb means explosive development so all together it means explosive storm strengthening

Bomb cyclones happen more in winter months and can carry hurricane force winds, cause coastal flooding and HEAVY snow. Bomb cyclones happen when a quickly forming storm results in a drop in atmospheric pressure of at least 24 millibars.

Basically its like a hurricane but stronger sometimes. The wind and flooding make it more like a hurricane but the blizzards and snow make it stronger

kap26 [50]

Answer:

The equator experiences equal day and night  as the summer solstices has longest days in northern side and the winter has longest in the southern side.

Explanation:

  • As the summer have the solstice period in the northern hemisphere, the areas in the north gets most of the heat and sun days as that of the southern hemisphere and the reverse is true for the winter solstices that has maximum day in the south and less in the northern hemisphere as sun rays don't pass the 66.5 degrees latitude.

In what region were Semitic religions predominant?
mafiozo [28]
I think that the best answer is: D. Southwest Asia and Northern Africa .

This corresponds to today's Egypt, Israel and Saudi Arabia - the places there the Semitic people live and where they have historically lived. So Semitic religions are most likely found where the Semitic peoples live.
