Answer:

1. Stop the Inner Monologue. One’s inner monologue, also known as subvocalization, is an extremely common trait among readers. It is the process of speaking the words in your head as you read, and it is the biggest obstacle that gets in the way of you being able to increase your reading speed. 2. Word–Chunking. Word-chunking closely parallels with the idea of eliminating the inner monologue. This is the act of reading multiple words at once, and is the key to reading faster. All of these reading tips tie together, yet word-chunking is probably the most active tool to use when you work to increase your reading speed. 3. Do Not Reread the Words on the Page. Before we move on to the peripheral vision part – that’s the real kicker – you’re going to want to make sure you break the habit of rereading the words on the page. If you watch the average person’s eyes as they read, you will notice they jump and flit about. They do not just flow evenly back and forth, as they should. This is because the average person – you do this, too – tends to backtrack over words they have already read. This is one thing that prevents you from being able to increase your reading speed. 4. Use Peripheral Vision. Congratulations! You’ve made it to the key step that really ties everything together. While this may not be the final step, it’s certainly a critical one.Use the techniques from everything above to view and comprehend several words at one time. Instead of chunking in smaller groups of words, try reading one line at a time.

Cloud [144]

Which two animals often disagree with each other?

Answer: <u>Napoleon</u> and <u>Snowball </u>always disagree with each other.

Explanation:

Napoleon is a pig that becomes a farm leader after <em>the Rebellion</em>. In order to establish authority over other animals, Napoleon uses his nine attack dogs. Snowball, on the other hand, is intelligent and not as harsh as his enemy, Napoleon. Rather than intimidating other animals, Snowball is interested in winning their trust. While Napoleon represents <em>Joseph Stalin</em>, Snowball's character is based on <em>Leon Trotsky</em>.

Which animal does most of the heavy labor?

Answer: <u>Boxer</u> does most of the heavy labor.

Explanation:

Boxer's personal motto is <em>''I will work harder!"</em> He is certainly hard-working and dedicated, and is convinced that every problem can be solved through hard work. Boxer is portrayed as powerful but naive, and his character is<em> an allegory for Russian working-class </em>that contributed to the establishment of the Soviet Union, but ended up betrayed by Stalin.

What does Snowball try to teach the animals to do?

Answer: <u>Snowball tries to teach the animals how to read and write.</u>

Explanation:

Snowball organizes the animals into <em>Animal Committees</em> that have different goals. There is, for instance, the Clean Tails League, and Re-education Committee. The goal of the latter is to <em>re-educate the rats and rabbits</em>. Snowball does succeed in his plan to teach the animals how to read and write, although other committees generally fail to achieve their goals. The pigs, for example, learn to fluently read and write.

What is the name of the incident in which Farmer Jones tries to retake the farm?

Answer: <u>The Battle of the Cowshed.</u>

Adding the suffix -ous to the word danger forms a/an<br> verb<br> adjective<br> adverb
ipn [44]
It forms an adjective. Danger by itself is a noun, if you add the suffix -ous, it makes it an adjective (A dangerous man). The adverb would be if you added -ous + -ly, and make it - dangerously (He drives dangerously). There is no verb "danger" or using any of its derivatives, the only way to make a verb out of danger is to add a prefix -en, and make it - endanger.
