The Declaration of Independence is an important part of American democracy because first it contains the ideals or goals of our nation. Second it contains the complaints of the colonists against the British king. Third, it contains the arguments the colonists used to explain why they wanted to be free of British rule. It was written in June 1776, Thomas Jefferson's draft of the Declaration of Independence, included eighty-six changes made later by John Adams (1735–1826), Benjamin Franklin 1706–1790), other members of the committee appointed to draft the document, and by Congress. When the first skirmishes of the Revolutionary War broke out in Massachusetts in April 1775, few people in the American colonies wanted to separate from Great Britain entirely. But as the war continued, and Britain called out massive armed forces to enforce its will, more and more colonists came to accept that asserting independence was the only way forward. There are four parts to the Declaration of Independence which include the Preamble, A Declaration of Rights, A Bill of Indictment, and A Statement of Independence.

Why the declaration of Independence is important because it helped the original thirteen colonies break free from British rule and established good cause for seeking independence.

What caused the declaration to be made was that it was created as a response to Great Britain overtaxing the colonist, so the founding fathers decided to send declaration  to King George declaring that America would be free, and that is the cause of the American Revolution.

The four parts of the declaration-

  • Preamble
  • Declaration of Natural Rights
  • List of Grievances
  • Resolution of Independence

A high school student acts bored in class and the teacher decides she is a bad student. This teacher discusses the student with
Anastasy [175]

Answer:

Labeling.

Explanation:

As the exercise suggests, the process of labeling involves classifying a student with a label, usually due to their ability, potential, attitude or behaviour. In this case, the student who acts bored (who could act like this because the class itself is boring, not because he is a bad student) is being labeled as a bad student by a teacher. Even though in this case this process ends up being negative, it could happen the other way round: he could participate a lot, have good grades and then he would be classified as a good student.
