Explain how diseases can affect the people around a person who is infected.
Salsk061 [2.6K]

Answer:

I hope the below helps!

Explanation:

For the person infected, they may not be able to carry out things they normally do in their day to day life. For family or near by friends, this could cause a big impact on them as they may need to start helping with jobs (e.g. buying food, administering medicine etc).

If the disease is infectious, there is also risk of spreading the disease to people who make contact. It depends on the type of disease as to how it is spread, but this can cause close people to become ill.

When diseased, some people can become seriously poorly. This puts stress onto family and others as they care/love for the person infected. If this stress is not handled properly, it can develop into sleep deprivation, anxiety, depression etc.

What do the variables in the Hardy-Weinberg equation represent?
Ket [755]
In the equation, p2represents the frequency of the homozygous genotype AA, q2 represents the frequency of the homozygous genotype aa, and 2pq represents the frequency of the heterozygous genotype Aa. In addition, the sum of the allele frequencies for all the alleles at the locus must be 1, so p + q = 1.
