First you add the three amounts.
882+924+943=2749
Then you divide by three to get the average.
2749/3=916.3333...
You can't have money smaller than a cent, so you get $916.33 as your average

URGENT PLEASE HELP 45 POINTS! Complete this activity. Given: f(x) = x + 2

[f(x)] 2 =
ivanzaharov [21]

We are told that f(x) = x + 2. We want to find (f(x))^{2}.

Squaring f(x) on one side means we square x + 2 on the other.

So,

f(x) = x + 2

(f(x))² = (x + 2)²

= (x + 2)(x + 2)

We can use FOIL to square x + 2. The first terms multiply to x², the outside terms to 2x, the inside terms to 2x and the last terms to 4.

= x² + 2x + 2x + 4

= x² + 4x + 4

So [f(x)]² = x² + 4x + 4

Answer:

 a) 30 kangaroos in 2030

 b) decreasing 8% per year

 c) large t results in fractional kangaroos: P(100) ≈ 1/55 kangaroo

Step-by-step explanation:

We assume your equation is supposed to be ...

 P(t) = 76(0.92^t)

__

a) P(10) = 76(0.92^10) = 76(0.4344) = 30.01 ≈ 30

In the year 2030, the population of kangaroos in the province is modeled to be 30.

__

b) The population is decreasing. The base 0.92 of the exponent t is the cause. The population is changing by 0.92 -1 = -0.08 = -8% each year.

The population is decreasing by 8% each year.

__

c) The model loses its value once the population drops below 1/2 kangaroo. For large values of t, it predicts only fractional kangaroos, hence is not realistic.

 P(100) = 75(0.92^100) = 76(0.0002392)

 P(100) ≈ 0.0182, about 1/55th of a kangaroo

What are the equivalent ratios shown in the table? Complete the statement.
Radda [10]
I will !

This is five-fold proportion
The first ratio gives solution namely
We will write general proportion
a:b= c:d= e:f = g:h= i:j = k
According to this the first ratio gives coefficient k
When we divide 24/2 =12 our coefficient k=12

In the second ratio we will multiply 3 with 12 and get 36.
In the third ratio we will multiplu 5.5 with 12 and get 66.
In the fourth we will divide 108 with 12 and get 9.
In the fifth we will multiply 15 with 12 and get 180.

Finally the ratio is 24:2=36:3=66:5.5=108:9=180:15

Good luck!!!!
