PLEASE I WILL MARK BRAINLIEST I HAVE 340 POINTS BUT THE LIMIT IS 100 BUT I SWAER FREIND ME AND ILL GIVE MORE PLEASE WHO EVER WAN
UNO [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

1. Compare and contrast producers and consumers in an ecosystem.

Producers make a benifit to the world by making plants and producing vegetables. Consumers will probably eat the consumers or eat other creatures. Both consumers and producers will die and then rot and help the soil.

2. Decomposers tend to go about their business without being noticed or rewarded for the work they do. Explain the importance of decomposers in ecosystems. Include in your answer the role that mold plays in a forest.

If we didn't have decomposers a bunch of fallen trees would still be in the forest or dead animals that have died of old age or a predator wouldn't rot. Decomposers help the world so there isn't so much junk that won't leave.

3. What form is energy in when it enters a food chain and when it leaves a food chain?

When something enters a food chain it will either benifit as a predator or prey or producer. The predators would be near the top. The prey would be near the middle. The producers will be at the end. The producers will be eaten by the prey and given energy so they can live. The predators eat the prey and is given energy from the producer the prey ate.

4. Only about 10 percent of the energy in an organism is passed on to the next level of a food chain. Look at this food chain: grass → rabbit → hawk

What percentage of the energy stored by the grass is passed on to the hawk?

Only around 5%. The reason is because the grass is probably partially digested into the rabbit and that causes half the energy to go into the rabbit.

5. A farmer has a ten-acre plot to feed his family. What is the most efficient way to use the plot? Explain why you chose your answer.

a. grow corn and feed it to his family

b. grow corn and feed it to several cows, using the milk and meat from the cows to feed the family

B. Because the cow will get fattened from the corn. If the farmer has a big family, corn would not be an efficient way to feed them. You wouldn't wanna be stuck eating corn for your life. The meat is very good for energy for the family.

Is it possible to find the same gene in two different kinds of organisms but not find the protein that is produced from that gen
Bingel [31]
Yes, quite frankly it is possible to find a same gene if you're in the same class of species, but finding the protein....I believe that's impossible because in every type of gene, you have the same proteins that make you function the same way. Without them you wouldn't be able to function properly.

If I found the same gene in all organisms that I've tested, I would be intrigued because that would be a giant step in evolution. My reason for this answer is because if you have the same gene that would technically mean we all specifically came from the same species of animals.

No, that's not true because other characteristics would eventually help us in many things, studies would help us get our brain much stronger and the intelligence level would be extraordinary.
