When the Civil War drew to a close President Lincoln changed his rhetoric because he needed to prepare to repair the nation after the devastation of the Civil War. After being re-elected, he had to re-build the nation.
I think that the answer to this question would be based off of your opinion because when you write poetry,most times, you are writing about your feelings and the way you express those feelings is different for everyone. Some people may have a harder time putting those feelings into words, while others might not.
