Answer:

Except for "literature: history" all other options can complete the diagram.

Explanation:

Etymology is a study of the origin and evolution of words. For this reason "words: etymology" means that "words" are studied in "etymology", so in order to complete the diagram, we need to find other words that establish this same relation.

"life: biology" establishes this relationship because biology studies life, so this option could complete the diagram.  Also could complete the diagram the sentences "insects: entomology" and "humans: anthropology", since the entomology is the science that studies the insects; and anthropology is the science that studies humanity, humans.

However, history is not the science that studies literature. For this reason the sentence "literature: history" could not complete the diagram.

Task
Dmitry_Shevchenko [17]

Answer:

Hello Incandescent Soap,

I purchased your Apple Cinnamon body wash about a month ago, and I recieved a Plum Raisin. I've come to know that you are no longer selling the Apple Cinnamon scent, and that is the only kind that I would like to have purchased, so I am looking to get a refund for the body wash you sent me. I know that you have a 90-day return policy, but only if the bottle is unopened, and I am asking you to make an exception for my purchase because the label gave me false information. You have labeled the bottle Apple Cinnamon, which is not only misleading, but an outright lie because the actual scent of the body wash was Plum Raisin. Even though you might say that the bottle was opened and I can't get a refund for that, I think that it is unfair of you to expect me to be satisfied with a body wash of the wrong scent. You didn't even think to contact me when you took Apple Cinnamon off your listing when I had ordered it, and you took a further step by hiding the label, I know that it is only acceptable if I get my money back for this product.

Thank you,

(Your name)

Why is the Samsa family unable to move into a different apartment?
DiKsa [7]

Answer:he tries to sleep it off.

Explanation: As these opening lines from Kafka´s novella, Metamorphosis, show, the transformation of Gregor Samsa into some sort of vermin is not a dream and in fact it´s a quite literally real experience. However, Samsa is uncomfortable but not quite panicking, and, given the situation, it is quite surprising that his reaction is merely to try to sleep it off, but, alas, he can´t even manage to do this since his new bodily form is too uncomfortable to sleep on his side, like he used to do.
