Okay. To find the number of miles Maya traveled, we should add both of the numbers together to find the answer. 8,276 + 2,451 is 10,727 or 11,000 when rounded to the nearest thousand. Maya traveled about 11,000 miles by plane.

Note: When you round both numbers to the nearest thousand, you get 10,000, but this answer asks for the nearest thousand and the actual gives a different answer. But depending on the situation, 10,000 might have to be the number that you use.

What is the equation parallel to 3x+2y=8 that goes through the point 2, -4
Gennadij [26K]

Answer:

The equation of the line would be y = -3/2x - 1

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find this, we first need to find the slope of the original line. We do this by solving for y.

3x + 2y = 8

2y = -3x + 8

y = -3/2x + 4

Since we know parallel lines have the same slope, we know our new line has a slope of -3/2. We can now use that along with the point in point-slope form to find the equation.

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

y - -4 = -3/2(x - 2)

y + 4 = -3/2x + 3

y = -3/2x - 1

Which value could be part of the domain of a sequence as a function?
zysi [14]
B. Because a domain is the "x" value  and on a graph you would notice the the "x" are all positive numbers (to the left). Hope that made sense. A range is the "y" value and are negative numbers (to the right) on a graph just in case you would like to know that as well:)
