Statement 1 has "m < 1 = 59" while statement 2 says "59 = m < 2". Think of connecting links on a chain. Doing that will have us travel from "m < 1" to "59" to "m < 2". Overall, we go from "m < 1" to "m < 2" in one hop allowing us to say m < 1 = m < 2. All of this is using the transitive property of equality. We're "in transit" as we move along the chain links. That's one way to remember the rule.

answer: Choice A. Transitive property

Since measure of angle one and 2 are proven to be equal it would be B. symmetric property of equality.

Have a good night and i hope that this helped you out hon :)

solmaris [256]
Here, 3x-70 = x  [ corresponding angles ]

3x-x = 70
2x = 70
x = 35

So, ABC = 3x-70 = 3(35)-70 = 105-70 = 35 degrees

So, your final answer is 35

Mr. Moore has 5 1/4 pounds of dry fish food. He will be putting an equal amount of food into 3 containers. How much fish food wi

5 and 1/4 can be 5.25 so all you have to do is divide that by 3 and you’ll get 1.75 per container.

If you wanted to keep it as a fraction, 5 and 1/4 would become 21/4 (you do 5 x 4= 20 + 1) and for fractions I always remembered dividing as ‘Keep, Change, Flip’ so you would do 21/4 for keep. Change would be to change the sign from division to multiplication. And for Flip you would flip 3 over 1 (3/1) to 1/3

Putting that all together would be 21/4 x 1/3 which also equals 21/12 by multiplying the denominators and numerators. Then you simplify, dividing it by 3 to equal 7/4 and another simplify to be 1 and 3/4 which is 1.75.

Hope this helps!
