A memoir is an appropriate text structure for Rosa Parks to use to share her personal expirences because a memoir is a non-fiction text that focuses on a specific historical event. Take the Montgomery Bus Boycott for example (only said this because it's what we are learning in school). Rosa Parks had a major impact on segregation when she refused to give up her seat to a white man. She could write a memoir in what went through her head at that'd moment, or what it was like being arrested because she wouldn't stand up.
