Read the excerpt from “The Girl Who Silenced the World for Five Minutes.” At school, even in kindergarten, you teach us to behav

e in the world. You teach us . . . • not to hurt other creatures, • to share – not be greedy. Then why do you go out and do the things you tell us not to do? Based on the excerpt, Suzuki most likely believes that adults should behave more maturely than children. better than they did when they were in kindergarten. the same way they expect young children to. as examples for their children.

This is speculation, so please get a second opinion.
I think it's c, because the adults, in this passage, are teaching children how to behave, and therefore a and b are ruled out. d could have possibly been one, but I think that it would not be, because the adults are not explicitly setting clear examples for their children.
Again, you should get a second answer before you answer this.

Solnce55 [7]

The answer is: False. There are several organizational patterns for public speaking, and each one has a different and specific purpose. So, it's not appropriate to use just one pattern for informative outline (organizational format- topical), which is to inform the audience, and for persuasive outline (organizational format- sequence), which is to inspire people to take action.

Hi. Although you submitted a text, you did not submit any questions regarding it. This prevents me from giving you any answers. However, to help you out, I'll explain what the text presented means. Hope it's useful.

The text posed in the question above is an excerpt from "Of Plymouth Plantation" written by William Bradford, where he presents a real account of the life of the first English settlers, recently arrived in America. In this excerpt, he shows how the arrival in America was very challenging for all the settlers. They had already faced problems on the way between England and America and when they arrived in the new world, they landed in a place where there was no one to help them with anything. The settlers had neither house nor food, they had to face the harsh winter without any resources to protect them, they did not know any place they could shelter and lived in constant concern about being attacked by the "savages", that is, the natives.
