Misha Larkins [42]

The largest asteroid ever registered by scientists is 1000 kilometers in diameter.

What is an asteroid?

An asteroid is a relatively small celestial body that orbits the sun or other planets. Asteroids are mainly rocky elements and they vary in size, although most of them are smaller than regular planets.

Where can asteroids be found?

Asteroids can be found in all the universe; however, in our solar system, it is more common to find asteroids in the region between Mars and Jupiter. Due to this unique characteristic, this region is known as the Kuiper belt.

What is the biggest asteroid?

Up to today, the biggest asteroid ever registered by scientists is a 1000 kilometers asteroid in diameter. This asteroid is called Ceres. This can be found in the asteroid belt.

How many grams of lead product would theoretically be produced between 17. 0 g potassium iodide, ki, and 25. 0 g of lead (ii) ni
Fantom [35]

The number of grams of lead product that would theoretically be produced from the given reaction is; Mass of lead product = 23.6 g

Potassium iodide reacting with Lead(II) Nitrate would yield the balanced equation;

2KI + Pb(NO₃)₂ = 2KNO₃ + PbI₂

2moles : 1 mole = 2 moles : 1 mole

From online tables;

Molar mass of KI = 166 g/mol

Molar mass of Pb(NO₃)₂ = 331.2 g/mol

We are given;

Mass of KI = 17 g

Mass of Pb(NO₃)₂ = 25 g

Thus;

Number of moles of PbI₂ yielded in order to find the limiting reactant will be;

no of moles of PbI₂ from KI = (17g/166 g/mol) × (1 mole of PbI₂/2 mol of KI)

no of moles of PbI₂ from KI = 0.0512 mols

Similarly;

no of moles of PbI₂ from Pb(NO₃)₂ = (25g/331.2 g/mol) × (1 mole of PbI₂/1 mol of Pb(NO₃)₂)

no of moles of PbI₂ from Pb(NO₃)₂ = 0.0755 moles

We can see that KI produced the least amount of moles. Thus;

Mass = 0.0512 * molar mass of PbI₂

From tables, molar mass of PbI₂ = 461 g/mol

Thus;

Mass of lead product = 461 * 0.0512

Mass of lead product = 23.6 g

Explain two religious beliefs about adultery (include and
explain teachings).(4 marks)
o-na [289]

Answer:

Christians believe that this commandment (it's one of the 10 commandments, "thou shalt not covet another man's wife") shows that God wants people to exercise sexual fidelity within marriage and chastity before marriage. Adultery means having sex with someone to whom you are not married. Christianity teaches that adultery is wrong and sinful. In many sects, divorce and remarriage is considered adultery. In fact, even having impure thoughts is adultery. In the Bible, Leviticus 20:10 subsequently prescribes capital punishment for adultery, but refers to adultery between a man and a married woman: And the man that commits adultery with another man's wife, even he that commit adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. In the New Testament, you can be forgiven if you repent of your sins and ask Jesus to forgive you, covering you with his perfect blood.

Hinduism: Adultery is a consensual physical correlation between two individuals who are not married to each other. According to Hinduism dictionary,” Adultery is sexual intercourse between a married man and a woman not his wife, or between a married woman and a man not her husband.” In Hindu shastras, adultery is considered as a serious breach of dharma. Hinduism considers marriage as a sacred and a highly sanctified relationship.
