Vending Machine should not be allowed in schools. Why? A vending machine holds unhealthy food in their slots. The things sold in vending machines such as soft drink are one of the highest ratings for tooth decay in later ages but it starts when you are young. Over use of this vending machine can cause heart problem from weight gaining with the food the kids eat. Not only is it unhealthy for the children but if a kid is to give its money for the food and it not give them the food they want but keeps the money... it can cause for complaint to the schools vending machine by "stealing money from the students" Along with that vending machines take peoples money, what will the school be using for? It can cause a mistrust to the students parent if it is unknown to them. Vending machines are a good and bad investment depending on how it used.

I hope this helps!

Nutka1998 [239]

Answer:

Literary conflicts are often taught during ELA units. Building on prior knowledge to achieve mastery level with our students is important. An excellent way to focus on the various types of literary conflict is through storyboarding. Having students choose an example of each literary conflict and depict it using the storyboard creator is a great way to reinforce your lesson!

In this story, the major conflicts arise from General Zaroff's practice of hunting human beings.

1.How did Ben Shahn express his outrage about the Sacco and Vanzetti trial in this painting?
pochemuha

Ben Shahn was a Lithuanian born American artist. He is known for his works of social realism, his political views, and lectures.

Explanation:

 • When Shahn was only four years old, his socialist father was exiled to Siberia because the Russian government suspected he was a revolutionary. Shahn remembered launching his own sort of protest as a child when he would shout “Down with the Czar!” at anyone wearing a uniform.
 • Pablo Picasso strengthened the effect of suffering in Guernica by the use of black and white and gray paint. No colors are seen, much like after a real bombing when everything is covered in dust and ash. He also used the expressions of the people and animals to strengthen the effect.
 • People on the canvas look about them with open mouths; they are either gasping or crying in pain. The horse is being run through with a javelin, and it is clearly in pain.
